Before the usual wash, I removed my wheels to clean the wheel wells and suspension components thoroughly. Was planning on full c laybar/wax too, but... Well. It’s late. Next time though!

And yes, the McGuyver’d upper radiator hose worked. Fantastically actually! Engine temps are super low, and I no longer smell coolant when driving. Hooray. I’ll do the coolant reroute soon so I can replace the somewhat janky hose setup asap. I’ve got momentum, and if work things go qu ickly tomorrow I reaaaaally want to do the hood vents.

I’ve never seen someone take the wheels off their car to wash it before.

Is this a public car wash?

I’m so proud.

Now just need to get you some brushes and fallout remover and a good easy sealant.

Yes, and yes. But I showed up at 9pm so there were plenty of empty stalls for everyone!

With dirt caking on to the entire wheel well+all components it pays off, especially if you’re about to work on it :P
